The Society needs your help
A call for donations: Adams Library Appeal
The Society is very pleased to announce that our Honorary President, Professor William Y. Adams, has generously offered to donate his collection of books and offprints to the Society’s library in London. He has been active in the archaeology of Sudan and Nubia for over 50 years, and has amassed one of the best libraries of relevant publications. The collection will provide an immensely valuable resource and will sit alongside the Society’s archive, which includes significant holdings from Bill’s surveys and excavations conducted during the West Bank Survey, a component of the UNESCO High Dam Campaign.
As the collection is in the USA, shipping expenses are extremely high and we have launched an appeal to raise money to help defray the cost. Any amount would be gratefully received.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer online donation facilities at the moment …

We regret that due to US government policy towards Sudan, PayPal is unable to deal with transactions on behalf of the Society. The Officers of the Society are investigating alternative payment methods. To arrange payments for membership, publications or donations, please contact the Honorary Secretary.

If you are a UK taxpayer and wish to complete a Gift Aid declaration, see the information on the Membership page.
Enquiries should be directed to the Honorary Secretary.
