Each year, the Society organises a programme of events including a one-day international colloquium on recent archaeological fieldwork in Sudan. Among the speakers will be at least one eminent archaeologist from abroad. Papers illustrated by photographs will be delivered on work undertaken in Sudan over the previous winter, along with others of a more general nature.
This year’s colloquium will be held on the 13 May at the British Museum, at 11am. The venue is the Stevenson Lecture Theatre, and the programme will be forthcoming shortly.
Tickets for this event must be pre-booked for security reasons.
Entry to the colloqium and the reception that follows is by ticket only.
Tickets : members of the Society £10, British Museum Friends £12.50, general public £15
