Each year, the Society organises a programme of events including a one-day international colloquium on recent archaeological fieldwork in Sudan. Papers are delivered on work undertaken in Sudan (usually) over the previous winter, along with others of a more general nature.

The 2023 colloquium will be held on Saturday 13 May in the Headley Lecture Theatre in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. The colloquium will be followed by a drinks reception.
